About Me

Lauren Gott: Lauren Gott was born and raised in Louisiana, but her interest in makeup was a by-product of her modeling career. Lauren experienced first hand some of the true titans of the beauty industry when she sat in the chairs of Pat McGrath, Tom Pecheux, and the late, great Kevyn Aucoin, amongst many others. This turned out to be the impetus for her interest in makeup and also served as first-hand training during her six years in front of the camera. Lauren began her own makeup career by doing self-portraits while living in Paris. As a result of those photos, various beauty photographers began taking notice of Lauren’s talent and contagious energy and soon hired her to key as a makeup and hair stylist which resulted in her first published editorial work. Lauren’s strength lies in doing beauty makeup which requires flawless application, acute attention to detail, and an immense amount of creativity. During her 16 years in the fashion industry, Lauren has lived and worked in Milan, Paris, London, Tokyo, and New York. She currently resides between Los Angeles and New York.
